  3. BG: Will do. Assuming we release an abstract tonight, we’ll do community forum this week. We were thinking 1 day of traditional abstract discussion (Wed.) and community forum (Thurs.) We need 4 council members. Who can’t go on Thursday at 7?

  5. BG: We’ll send a group email and figure it out.

  6. BG: Committee updates?

  7. Damon: MDC spoke to Cathy. She is excited about community forums and wants to put in her 2 cents and come up with interesting community forum things.

  8. Michael: That’s exactly something we talked about on PPPC.

  9. Zach: I don’t know how specific we can get…

  10. Damon: Themes falling under that umbrella?

  11. Zach: But how specific can we get? We have abstracts…

  12. Damon: We don’t have to get too specifically determined with abstracts.

  13. BB: Can you point her to us on CFC/PPPC.

  14. Michaela: SMEC had a meeting that didn’t happen on Thursday.

  15. Seema: JSAAPP delivered pizzas to freshmen yesterday.

  16. BG: Some really good JSAAPP posters.

  17. Sergio: No updates from S&S.

  18. Erin: I’m making a sign for COC to attract people to community forum.

  19. BG: We were floating around ideas with Dean Watter about moving things out of Ryan gym. It seems to dwarf the discussions. Do we want to hold stuff somewhere else?

  20. Janela: I like Founders common room because it seems prestigious.

  21. Zach: How about here so people can eat?

  22. BG: We’d have to leave by 8.

  23. Janela: It’s not inviting for people who aren’t on the meal plan.

  24. Damon: I like Founders common room. It’s big enough to hold a ton of people, but not too big.

  25. BB: Do people know where it is?

  26. Damon: Generally yes.

  27. Zach: What if it was in plain sight, like the sunken lounge?

  28. Jon: It was there until the early 90s.

  29. Ryan: We talked about WCC 313.

  30. Bes: That seems far off.

  31. Zach: We want the best place to make people show up. Founders common room doesn’t seem ideal.

  32. Michael: Zubrow?

  33. Bes: MCC?

  34. [General conversation on the worth of the two locations.]

  35. BG: I don’t want to drag this on too long…

  36. Seema: What about the spot outside the art gallery?

  37. BG: Can CFC stay after today to figure it out?
